Kawasaki Z 200
You're ready to buy your first
motorcycle, the main thing is to find one you can trust. It should be an
exciting, satisfying motorcycle that understands very clearly you're the boss.
The motorcycle should be very easy to steer. Since narrow bikes feel more
controllable, Kawasaki designed the KZ200 around a narrow single-cylinder
engine. They built the bike light (278 lbs), and they gave it quick steering.
Easy riding.
The production began in 1976, starting with conventional points type ignition
system. This configuration lasted until the latest production batch in 1982.
By 1983, the motorcycle adopted the Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) system
until the production stopped in 1984. The early production of this specification
is called Merzy CDI, while the latter were launched with new model of fuel tank
and referred as Merzy Cobra.[clarification needed]
